Sahabzada was lying in the sand, surrounded by his brothers and sisters. The sun was once again unforgiving that day; temperatures here can reach as high as 40 degrees. But once night falls, the sand finally cools and brings some relief.
Sahabzada is the only one in his village who can read. When Amina first met him and discovered he could read, she gave him a comic book about the life of Jesus. That same night, under the stars, Sahabzada lay in the cool sand and began to read aloud. While his brothers and sisters listened silently, fascinated by the words he read.
In this remote village, just an hour from the Indian border, the children heard the name ‘Prahb-Puh’, Jesus in Marwari, for the very first time.
A month later, when Amina returned, Sahabzada ran to meet her and asked:
"Do you have any more books? I want to know more so I can tell my village more about Him!"
Amina herself comes from a Marwari tribe, a Hindu community in Pakistan that is hugely ignored and marginalized. Like many there, both Christians and Hindus, she grew up in poverty and oppression. Her grandfather was the first to turn away from Hinduism to follow Jesus. Despite her limited resources, she faithfully shares what little she has with her tribe. Trusting that He will provide for her every time. Why?
"I want to see a cross in every house."
Amina, 23 years old
Her faith doesn't just stop at giving. This past year, Amina courageously shared the gospel with people from these tribes. Communities that are so isolated that no one speaks their language so the gospel has not yet been heard there. God's Spirit worked powerfully here.
Today more than 100 people from these unreached tribes have given their lives to Christ.
Now these new believers are so eager to learn more: " Next time, teach me more so I can tell my village more about Him!"
Would you like to help equip these leaders so that others can also hear about Jesus?
Undistorted actively supports these evangelistic missions, and after this tremendous growth, the next step is clear: discipleship and leadership development. That is why I am traveling to this remote region in early September to spend time with new believers in fellowship, worship and teaching.
To actively teach and equip them in God's Word with our local team. To help them gain a clear vision of what it means to be part of God's Kingdom here on earth. This through practical learning sessions that they can immediately apply to share the gospel and disciple others in their own villages.
In addition, I really desire to get to know their hearts, who they are and what moves in them. But also what (spiritual) challenges may await them as they share His name. So that besides specific training, we can also carry them spiritually in intercession and connection as brothers and sisters.
This is much more than a short visit. It is a time where intentionally building long-term relationships while establishing a local team of leaders who will continue to spread the gospel in their own communities. The goal is multiplication, training disciplemakers who will bring the name of Prahb-Puh to every corner of their tribe.
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20
And this is just the beginning, a story that began with an ordinary young woman who chose to obey an all-powerful great God. A new chapter in which leaders are called to take up their cross and carry on His mission. A mission that brings the love of Jesus to places where His name, "Prahb-Puh," is not yet known.
A command, a dream, a mission: "To see a cross in every home!"
- Transportation costs: 1000 euros( Air ticket and other travel expenses to reach the region)
